Long, connected movement
Flowing strokes travel across the body rather than stopping at one isolated area.
Hawaiian-influenced bodywork
A deeply immersive whole-body experience using long flowing movements, rhythm, varied pressure and generous stretching. Kahuna feels unlike a standard remedial massage because the body is treated as one connected whole.

A different way of working
Kahuna, also known as Lomi Lomi, gives Nicole the freedom to work around the massage table and beneath the body. Broad, rhythmic movements connect one area to the next while stretches create space through the whole form.
Pressure can move from soft and gentle to deep and firm. The changes in pace and touch invite the mind to stop anticipating what comes next, allowing the body to soften into the rhythm.

The treatment moves between gentle, grounding touch and firmer muscular work.
03
Supported stretches and under-body work create a sense of openness and release.
“Not easily described. Best experienced.”
That line appeared on Nicole's original Kahuna page, and it still captures the treatment well. Kahuna is understood through its movement, rhythm and the feeling of receiving it.
The intention
Nicole brings the spirit of Aloha, care and focused intention to the session. Her work is informed by formal Hawaiian Lomi Lomi and Kahuna massage training, together with years of intuitive bodywork experience.
People often choose Kahuna when they want something different, are moving through a hard or changing time, or simply feel ready to be deeply nurtured. The experience may support relaxation, freer movement and a greater sense of connection within the body.
